The intention is to upload a new webcast every 4 weeks (in addition to any other mixes that might get posted as well).  These should all be available on both the Mixcrate and Mixcloud profiles.

The current webcast for January can be streamed from Mixcloud, or streamed and downloaded from Mixcrate.

My live mix recorded from Zero Basic’s Solstice event on the 17th of December, 2011 is now available for for streaming and download on Mixcrate, and for streaming from Mixcloud.

This is a mix of House, Tech House, Techno, and a little bit of Progressive House.

Not seen any mixes from other DJs who were involved uploaded anywhere at this time, although they could be out there somewhere in cyberspace that I haven’t checked yet.

As with the other tracks, this is intended purely as a demo, so is currently unmastered.

The Hoover sound is supposed to be a background layer rather than a lead, not sure if it works at that level to be honest.

These tracks may or may not ever be released (obviously they need a bit of fine tuning and mastering).

Probably the last of the minimal stuff for a while, I feel the need to do some stuff with a bit more energy again…these tracks were only ever intended for use in my own DJ sets as intro tracks or whatever.

The second of the three minimalist demos I had intended to upload to Soundcloud last week, and this one is meant to make pissed off robots dance or something…I dunno lol.

Again, not sure (or don’t really care) what genre this should fit in to…minimal glitch tech house or whatever, but I’ll just use the minimal house tag for now.

Ignoring any reference to dancing robots above, this was written when I was getting frustrated at some of the limitations of the Android operating system on my phone…the alternative would have been calling the track “FFS I Need To Buy An iPhone!”…but went with “Jaded Androids” instead.

This track is unmastered, so could do with a little bit of shining up. Constructive feedback is welcomed of course.

Intended as an intro track for one of my DJ sets a while back, not sure if it should be classed as minimal or tech house…or minimal tech house…but who gives a crap really? =P

This was written when I had been treated like some kind of outcast by several people (you know who you are!), just found some loops that fitted my mood at the time, and added some sounds of my own to create this.

It was supposed to be part of a 4 track release, which never got released in the end. I’ll upload the other tracks (well 2 of them anyway) later on when I get chance.

As usual, any constructive feedback is welcomed.

Originally uploaded to SoundCloud and Last.fm back in June, Meltdown is an Acid track made using the now free to use Propellerhead Rebirth software.

After mentioning it may become a free download originally, this track is now available for download on SoundCloud and Last.fm for free.

As stated before, it’s not a serious track, I just made it while I was playing with Rebirth, rewired into Ableton Live (I was actually experimenting with some MIDI settings at the time).

As the the title suggests, it’s a bit basic, but that was the point, I was trying to learn about Logic rather than record an anthem.

Apart from the vocal shots, the whole of the track was recorded using only the default instruments and fx contained within Logic.

This is the first house track I’ve done in a while too.

After a night out visiting several bars playing various styles of house, tech house, and techno, we were wondering what would happen if these were put together in a mix.

So this is basically a mix containing various genres and tracks (or as closer substitute track as I had), which we heard during a night on the town.
